HeartLodge is Closed to Submissions and Entries

Because the editors of HeartLodge have a variety of other literary projects they are working on, the poetry journal is closed until further notice. Over a four-year period, we have loved meeting our loyal and talented poets through their words and dreams.

Andrea L. Watson is now the editor and publisher of HeartLodge: Honoring the House of the Poet.

The press may be reconfigured as a book publisher in the future.

If you have a project you believe might be of interest, from chapbook to book, do not hesitate to contact me at heartlodgepoets@gmail.com.

Reading Period For Volume IV Of HeartLodge Is Now Closed

The editors of HeartLodge have read and accepted poetry submissions from across the world during our reading period of September, 2007 through January, 2008. We currently are in the process of designing Volume IV of HeartLodge, which we expect to publish in early summer.

We will begin to read all poetry submissions for the next issue, Volume V, of HeartLodge in September, 2008.

We wish to thank the many poets who honored us with their superb poetry.

Reading Period Begins for Volume IV of HeartLodge

The editors have begun to read submissions for the 2008 edition of HeartLodge: Honoring the House of the Poet.

Our reading period extends from September, 2007 through January, 2008.

Please consult our Guidelines for Submission on this site and also view samples of previously published poetry.

We accept submissions via regular mail only.

The editors are grateful for all of the excellent poems we have received already. We will respond to all submissions as soon as possible.
